Backgrounds and colouring

At the moment I've been experimenting with colouring in my film, trying to see how I want the overall finished film to look. So far I like the look of the colouring in some scenes, but I think I need to work on shading and adding more textures. They are quite rough and messy currently, but it's nice to have an idea of how they could look. I think I'll try and make the 'real world' slightly darker tones in order to have the dream world colours 'pop' more.
The last few weeks I've been focusing on actually getting my teeth into the animation and trying to get a good chunk of the film animated below I've put what I've animated so far in November. I'm happy in general with how it's looking, some of the animation feels a little bit too rough and like it needs to be smoother, but I know that if I add some inbetweens this will be sorted. I feel like I'm finally picking up speed after a few months of feeling fairly stagnant. So its nice to be moving again!
